Anyone ever put chains / spikes on their tires? I need to know how safe they are for the car.

Not that I know of. I am sure there are some studded tires that would fit, but I am not positive

ive put chains on my p5. theyre just chains, what do u mean by safe? if they fit right then they wont hurt the car. i mean you can drive terribly fast with them on but if your in a situation that requires chains i dont think your gonna wanna drive fast anyway. I dont really understand your question. be more specific. but chains worked fine for me

I mean they aren't going to fall off or send rocks into the paint are they? How much do they cost?

i've got sierra cable lock chains, and yeah they'll fall off if you don't secure them properly or if you start doin 30 with em, but other than that, no it's not a problem... as for rocks, generally speaking if there's rocks on the road i don't think you'd need to put on your chains, it's just when there's heavily siped snow that your car really like to go sideways...
