Intake air temp sensor with SRI

I've seen plenty of pictures of short rams and CAIs but I can't see what you do with the IAT. Anyway I know the MAF needs it so it can determine the intake air volume. Is there a place between the MAF and the filter to put it? Is there a pic somewhere that shows it clearly? I was thinking of making an SRI instead of buying one.

I zip-tied it close to the filter - it is the same temp air entering...

Your intake should have a hole on the piping between the filter and maf. That is where the IAT goes.

NOt Me! I B ghetto I used the intake hose from a NEON to fit the filter. I guess it is a cross betweeen a true SRI and a CAI. The filter is 'over' the hole , near the battery.
