Might I suggest......

removing the seats, grinding the crap out every seam and weld, taking all of the paint off the inside, and spraying the interior with Line-X....it's a very good noise dampner and it'll actually help stiffen the chasis. Should run about $200-400

Im really making a huge effort to reduce weight, no sound deadening, carpet, door cards, ac system completely removed, no trunk liner, misc brackets and wiring removed as well. Im guessing about 150lbs taken out so far, last time i drove it she was quite peppy. Still need to fix the fuel tank, new exhaust and install my suspension then its lil detail stuff...hoping for end of feb. to be done in time for the local rally, not to run in it but to drive it down there...

thanks! After this week ( its a heat wave, 50's!!!) I should have it driving if I can get the tank rewelded after I cut it open. After I get it driving I'll post some vids...I love the sound of an uncorked straight 5!
