Air Intake Help

Right now I am considering buying an intake system for $75. I know that is a little high but I do not know what specific materials to buy. I read some of this forum and I heard that 2.5 inch piping is the correct size. Can anyone e-mail me back with the exact materials to make a good custom intake. I am not good at working on my car myself (have my friends help) so if someone can send me an exact replica of materials supplies and what they did that would be much appreciated. Thank you

talk with daryl (mazdaspeedwest), maybe he can scrounge up an intake for you, and no, $75 bucks for a full intake pipe setup from your TB to your VAF isn't a bad idea at that price.
peace
here is a little guide he has http://www.mazdaracer.com/pro/intake_TB-VAF.htm

and he's got other mods listed on his website http://www.mazdaracer.com i go there quite often
