Hey,

welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy your stay.

A lot of things have already been discussed here and the easiest way to find out things is to use the 'Search' function found in the top right hand corner of the webpage.

I would suggest getting an intake (do a search, you'll come up with pages and pages of discussion) and a cat-back system.

If you got enough money, a BEGI (Flyin' Miata) turbo would be the best option to make your car faster.

Welcome once again,

Bojan

schwn115, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Just keep in mind that our cars powerplants are fairly tweeked out from the factory....in other words don't expect to be able to "bolt-on" a lot of horsepower.....about the only to make a real significant jump in power is to go forced induction, as in TURBO. but an intake and a cat back exhaust will give you a little boost.....

as for your warrantee....do NOT listen to the dealer.....is common for them to tell you that if you put ANY aftermarket parts on your car that it will void your warrantee...its their way to take advantage of the unsuspecting consumer.....read up on the MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTEE ACT.....the only time that any PART of your warrantee is voided is if the part that you installed causes the failure....as in if you had an aftermarket air filter in your car...and it came apart somehow....and the pieces got sucked into the engine and messed something up....THAT would not be covered by your warrantee.....if it were stock....that would be a different story........NOW, does this mean that they won't give you a hard time about it? well some dealers service departments are cool....others are not.....it probably wouldn't hurt for you to talk to the service manager at your dealer and "FEEL HIM OUT" to see what his views are on aftermarket parts......some guys have just found it as easy to keep their stock parts...and IF they needed to take the car in for any warrantee work.....they just took the time to swap the parts back to stock before they went it......just so they wouldn't get hastled IF the dealer decided to be an *** about it. Food for thought.
