My whole bedroom stereo is comprised of car audio components...even the amp and HU, and a MTX road thunder sub. I am a freak

well I had home audio stuff a long time before I had car audio equipment that was worth lookin at..

I was in Japan in the early 80's and bought it all there and brought it all back with me.

the reciever puts out 100 watts RMS / channel....I have a 12 band graphic equalizer, a double cassette deck...and a liner tracking turn table...yes you heard me right....and NO there hasn't been a platter on it in about 18 years....

I have 4 speakers.....two are Harmon Kardons with 16" woofers, they have 6 " mids, and horn and mylar dome tweets in them.

the other two have 12" woofers, 4" mids and 1" mylar dome tweets in them.....

the system may be old.....but it still rocks the house down. It will make the sliding glass doors on the back of the house flex pretty good and never distort for a second.....and that is only getting the volume up to about 5 on a 0-10 scale. :{D

I wish I could do that but got no money.. I was thinking of putting an mp3 deck into the wall w/ only the faceplate showing then wiring amps, speakers and subs all over my room all hidden.

But oh well..I just settled for a 400 watt speaker system for my pc from Logitech. Thx ceritfied. 4.1 surround w/ a 12" sub. don't even need a center channel..sound is crystal clear
