Hi,

I own a 2002 Protege ES/GT, I'm planning to buy 14" rims to replace my stock 16" mags for the winter.

I know I can put 15" rims, but I want to know if some one already have tried 14 rims on this car.

16" = 195/50R16
15" = 185/60R15 [0.27% too slow on speedo]
14" = 175/70T14 [0.13% too fast on speedo]

I know it's a big step but I don't want to race in winter I just want to drive.

Yes you can put 14inches on. I know a lot of people who have them.
