Anyone have any suggestions. Should I do like Protege5/Mp3 and then all protege's

Jeff, I like this board format a lot. Not having any ads makes it worthwhile. Have you looked at the ProbeTalk board at http://www.probetalk.com/forums/index.php? Personally, I like the idea of having separate sections for Tech and Performance, with sub sections for each generation and maybe even for you MP3 and Protege5 guys. :-) BTW, are you paying for this board? I didn't think there were any available for free. If so, let me know if you would like some help with the cost, I don't think you should have to sponser this on your own.

The software cost money and I have a monthly webhost bill. It doesnt bother me that much but if you really want too you can send whatever via paypal

Once some more peole get registered and are posting I'll make a poll with different layout styles that people suggest

The only thing is that under each car mods are different. I would like to have like pro5 then mods etc. protege mods etc. mp3 mods etc. Maybe I should break it down to 2.0 and 1.8 for mods and have like exterior interior under each type of car

You also need to add a links place. Prowners had one. Instead of being a folder, you just clicked on it like a link. Also, I dont think you need to include the MP3 seperate. They're just pre-modded 2001's. They should be included under the general Proteges (which I think should just be ranked into each of the 3 gens, going into the different engine sizes would be way to much) and I think electronics should have its own place under MP5 (you can worry about those other Protege owners later :-) You dont want to have too many sections. It will get confusing & it will be like having all new boards for each.

You also need to add a "Test" section under the Off-Topic group. This is where people can test their signatures & vBcode & stuff.

I'd still like to see the Performance/Modification section changed to something like the General/Discussion section. Engine/suspension doesn't really cover enough for all the different performance mods for all generations of cars.

I could always break it down to performance/mod under each type of car. Pro5, 3rdgen, 2nd gen, 1st gen

That sounds good to me. Just the way you set up the Discussion area. Maybe replace the Interior, Exterior, and Engine/Suspension sections with 1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen, and P5/MP3. The titles of the threads inside the different sections would then describe what the thread was about so people can find things they are interested in quickly and easily. Blue
