suggestion and complaint

Complaint: The last few days this forum has been slow as shit. is it just me?? This is the only site that is slow for me. Some threads take over a minute to load.

Suggestion: If this is possible, when new users register, and they have to go to their email to activate their account, is it possible to have included in that message ''friendly'' sugestions that they check the FAQ and then if they don't find what they want to search the forum before asking questions that are inevitably asked over and over again.
Just a thought.

I haven't had too much trouble... though I'm not doubting you.

Your suggestion is a good idea :)
