Forum Gripes - Part Two
 

First off, sorry if this belongs in the "Site Suggestions" forum. If it does more so then here, please move it. Well, I've got part two of my forum gripes section. This time though, worry not. These are more questions than anything.

1. Why can some users with 22 posts have an Avatar? I thought the minimum was 50?

2. What is the minimum number of posts to be able to post attachments? I have about 155 posts, and I still can't post any attachments, such as pictures, etc. I've seen others with less of a post count attach pics before, so what's the deal?

3. What is the minimum post count to be able to change your Avatar caption? I don't think there's any set order to this, as I've seen some people with relatively low post counts changing their caption. What's the secret? (*Hint, this is a great time to ask for a bribe... ;) )

Yea, he means uploading a pic to a server. I see post that Gro Harlem has made and it says:

"Gro Harlem has attached this image" above the image.

Ive seen people with low post count and high post count that can do this. This may be limited to a number of people, since if everyone could do it it would take up space and bandwith. I really wouldnt use this feature much since I link most of my pictures through my webspace, but some people may find this easier to use.

I figured thats what happen. I did remember seeing none mods/admins posting pics like that. You are right, that would fill up the server fast, which it would cost more to maintain.

I use my isp webspace to post my pics. Most isps offer free webspace, so check into it ;)

Jesse, sorry you had to move it, but I wasn't sure exactly where it belonged. :p Those replies took care of #2, but what about 1 and 3? (See original post.)

That's a good question, I was wondering that myself about the avatars just a few minutes ago... it doesn't list anything when I click on the Avatar option under the edit profile section... I guess I need more posts? I just don't wanna be a post-whore just to get an avatar though! lol
