Woop on focus HERE

Yes, i finally did it, i raced the mofo. so i checked out his ride and talked abit to him, hes cool, even he thought his ride wasnt too hot, but its all he could afford. So the thing is, he of course has the ford 2.0liter inline 4, with a CAI, a magnaflow exhaust with dual square tips, and interior wise, he has taken out the back seat, he has audiophase 6x9s in the back, and stockers up front, running off a pioneer h.u. also he has racing pedals, a sparco shift knob, and a B&M short shifter in the works (sitting in the trunk, not installed yet). also he has recently dynoed it, and results were 95hp/100ftlb of torque... kinda funny but oh well....

so we went and raced.
took it out to local racing spot were it was safe, had a few friends along to observe (no one in the cars but me in my car, him in his).... and it was a 5, 4, 3, 2,1 go, i launch from 3400 rpm, get a nice ass launch over him, no tire spin, and take off, he starts to creep in 1st gear, i hit second at 6800rpm, and i take off, start to pull 1.5 car lenghts on him slowly, hit 3rd at 6800rpm (roughly) and take off still, im pulling 2 car lengths on him by the time i hit 80..... i continue to accelerate into 5th gear at about 110 and i turn on my flashers, roll down the window and give him a congrats middle finger (lol all in good fun).... as i beat him at 110 by 3.5 (roughly) car lengths easily.

it was all good, we talked for a while, he was impressed with the stock form of my car, and couldnt wait to see how she turns out in the future (as i told him what i had in mind). so its all good, and i wooped his ass.....hahaha

so all you that thought i couldnt win, well

:the finge

lol j/k, its all good, i wooped him in stock form with my spare and rear seat in(both of which he didnt), and 100 bucks in my pocket after words(yes we bet)

If you want better result, shift at 6000 rpm. It's with this shift point that I get my best drag result. If you shift over that, your just loosing time.

5SpeedP5 April-20th-2002 04:50 PM

well that was actually the shift points i was looking at to shift at, im sure i shifted over 6k a few times, but you gotta remember, i wasnt stearing at my tach either.

Nice kill man! I knew the P5 could whoop on a F*ckus any day! I had a go here with a 2001 Accord 2 door with a V6, and man, I toatlly got my ass handed to me! Who knew Honda could build something quick, that looked good too!

Yeah, I'm just as suprised as you are! ;) :p

Ouch! The V6 has around 200hp stock so I just tend to stay away from them
