Victory ! With a sad ending... Kinda
 

Hello everyone, I am generally new to the message boards, I know that this isn’t a protégé related racing story but I wanted to share it with everyone.
The day before Christmas I was going to visit my friends to head out to the Christmas party to meet up with some old high school buddies and hang out, it was about 12AM and I was flying down the highway going about 85 mph :bt: . I flew by this RICED up Honda Civic DX white, it looked sweet but we all know how ricers feel when you drive past them LOL ! So three minutes later i look up in my mirror and see the Ricer right behind me flashing his blue head lights trying to race and tail gating me :D, Keep in mind i was driving a Mitsubishi Galant Sigma 1988, *Max Speed 120 mph, V6 Engine that is soooo slow to pick up :mad:*
So i floored it to 115 mph as my steering wheel shaked hahahahaha ! I was thinking that i was going to lose but it was worth the try, he pulls out from behind me and tries to past me, and i noticed that i was slowly pulling away from him :bt: ! I was like whats going on ? Thats all you got ! Then i realized that he was a TRUE RICER and had all the fancy exterior upgrades and no engine mods ! I laughed and flashed my headlights to taunt him realizing the the Civic DX model he had only put of 110-115 horse power ! Then i pushed the poor old car to its 120 limit making sure i didnt red line it to much, as my exit came close i turned quickly into the exit lane to get off the highway, i noticed he was still behind me trying so hard to pass me hahahaha ! I foolished ignored the 25 mph exit sign i seen and took the turn at 80 mph putting to much faith in the yokohama tires :( my victory gave me to much confendence :rolleyes: , my car slid out of control and rammed into the curb real hard but i was able to gain some control to aviod messing up my axel bad :(. My rims scraped against the block shaped curb causing them to get messed up pretty bad, i also need a alignment badly also but got that fixed the next day:bt: . But to no surprise, the ricer tried to out do me and fly by taking the exit as fast as i was and BAM ! He almost rear ended me as he lost control and had his nice car share the same fate as mines :laugh:, since we both crashed over a stupid race i just look at him laughed and rev'ed up my engine peeling out as he looked ever so upset :the finge :the finge :the finge ! If he would of rear ended me it would of been hard trying to explain to the cops what happened ! :laugh: :laugh:

The moral of my story is "Looks can be deceiving; a ricer will always be a ricer ". Drive save everyone ;)

I may have Won and messed up my car, but considering that the car i was driving has 320,000 miles, and i was able to gain control to drive away with scratches on the rims :) With no major damage, except a alignment. That cars life is almost over anyway :) i have pics of it if anyone wants to see it.

Ha Ha Ha :laugh: I have driving skills, its just they couldnt be performed with the current car i had, but with my P5 we shall see. :eek:

That may be true that my driving skills arent as good as some people but it isnt always the car :D, try taking a sharp turn with a GEO PRISM :bt:
