I have no idea---but, so much for layin' low, eh?

Jackelope October-11th-2005 12:33 PM

haha.. "lay'n low" @ work... they got rid of someone (@ another place) for being on the net

What year.
The new ones have 300hp and would eat an msp for breakfast. Or just about anything for that matter. The old rounded off ones could have as low as 200.

oh yah, guess that would help.. its one of the fox bodies.. id' guess around an '87 or so.

Mother of god you beat a 5.0. They were as slow as they got.
You sure it got all the way up to 95mph usually they cant break 85.
power droped as low as 120hp with the strongest being at 225

http://home.pon.net/hunnicutt/history_79_93.htm

Now that should have been an easy kill for the msp or anything for that matter.

Jackelope October-11th-2005 03:44 PM

i thought they were decently fast? haha, shows what i know... i didnt bother downshifting though... stayed in 4th the entire time... guess i should have downshifted and passed 'em earlier :)

& of course .. that page is blocked.

umm an 88 GT 5.0 has about 225 HP and about 300 LB-FT of Torque

They were slow for a V8, but a 6.4 0-60 MPH Time and a 15.0 1/4 Mile Time

aint no stock MSP just blowing the doors off that, much less an Regular NA Protege

:wee: round & round we go... so it *should* have been able to pull away... esp. up hill. right?

yes. If he was trying to overtake you and didnt, he either had compression problems, or was in the wrong gear himself

mustang "FIVE POINT SLOW"

ive seen plenty of cars eat them
but there are quite alot of sleepers out now

the kind that have modifyed engines and drive trane, daily runners, but look rustier then a MUB
