porches suck
 

I go to school in a pretty ritzy part of San Diego, called La Jolla/Torrey Pines, aka where Tiger Woods golfs when he's in town. Anyway, I was on a 2 hour break between classes, and decided to go to this nearby deli to pound their killer italian sub. On the way there, this middle aged dude rockin' the khaki ball cap and circle glasses pulls up next to me in a damn porche cabriolet, complete with dealer plates and stickers. He revs at me, so I look over and the dude is staring at me like he wants to go. So I figure, yeah, why not...no harm in a little innocent fun when no one's around. Light turns, we're off, and the dude can't drive his car quite yet as it jackrabbit's off the crosswalk line. I take a quick lead, then I hear it...that *keef psshhhhht* and watch as this 50 year old man in his dealer new porche flies by me with the biggest sh!t eating grin I've seen in a while. I knew that was comming...but I thought, maybe I'd have a small chance. I should expect as much, going to school at a place where I've seen freshmen driving an nsx, viper, and an r33 skyline. And that's this year. My sandwich was good, though.

you should congratulate him at the next light for beating a highschool kid in an economy sedan....ask him if he sleeps better at night even though you're bangin' his daughter.

The title of this thread is "Porches suck". I dunno, my porch is a damned fine place to have a cold beer on a hot summer saturday afternoon.

sorry sorry, PorSches suck. And I'm actually at UCSD (graduating in June thank god) but I'm still probably tappin' his daughter. Or mowing his lawn for book money.

I haven't been wopped like that in a long time. And in this car I KNOW not to pull up on anyone, if they try I do the I'm more mature than that look and let them go. Knowing dam well that if I could have actually have a chace would race them.
Theres a fine line between hating a guy in a fine car and admiring them.
