out of state(duster)

I was on the freeway going across town. I was already doing about 90 in fourth. I had just dropped into fifth about 100 to 200 hundred yards later I was closely approaching 110 I was about to double clutch to get little extra boost I then saw blue lights in the median ( the state trooper was posted in the median facing the oncoming traffic). I then jumped on the off ramp ( luckily the light was green) turned into a local neighborhood and turned off my headlights, turned on my fog lights and lost the trooper in then lost the trooper in the neighborhood. I think if he really wanted to get he would have gotten me though

That's funny.

1. Because you're stupid
2. Because I've been in a situation like that, but in a friend's 911 Turbo.

UCSBgeek February-6th-2003 05:39 AM

You double clutched to get extra speed? Explain what you mean by double clutch.

Team Fuzion February-6th-2003 07:06 AM

we have haters on this site hell if you hate on each other how do you expect to get any respect from others. we need to start a thread to see how young some peeps are cuz from what I'm seeing we have a bunch of5 graders, thats why I stay my butt on DSMTUNERS 99% of the time we work together instead of hating.
so to all haters out there :asshole:

UCSBgeek February-6th-2003 07:12 AM

Now that I think about it he could have meant he double clutched going down into 4th to get extra power, I guess.

Hey you can say I hate all you want, But I only bash on those who do obviously stupid things....

Say, like speed at 110mph and recklessly endanger innocent people around them, as they try to pull off and avoid cops in a residential area where people could be in the streets. I would call that stupid.

Maybe the ubercool DSMTUNERS applaud people who drive 110 and run from the police? Yea, we ARE a bunch of assholes! :D

I wouldn't hate on him just yet.

Maybe he was scared of getting caught. Even though he shouldn't have been driving that fast in the first place. From what I understand, can't you get arrested for doing over 100mph. Maybe thats why he took off.:dunno:

I've ran from the cops before, but I think my situation was A LOT better.
I was at an Import hang-out spot with 'Lost_Concept' and 'Pudge' (protegeclub members). There were around 40 cars. Then it got a litte crazy. This guy, I think tried to steal something from another dudes car. The other guy and his friends saw him and started chasing him to whip his ass. He had like 20-30 guys and gals chasing him. (And boy could he run:laugh:) Then me and this other guy heard light siren noises in the background. Then I saw red/blue lights flashing from a distance. I yelled COPS!

Man oh Man, was that a crazy night. I was SO SO close to getting blocked in. I cut off a Maxima and a cop to get away.

Just incase y'all are wondering, I NEVER went there again. To risky. Those cops caught A LOT of ppl that night. (Tickets, towing, etc.)

:laugh:BTW, That boy Lost_Concept can RUN. He was right beside me and when I said cops, he was in his car starting it. He was the first car out and he hid behind a gas station. I just floored it until I was like 10 mins away.

That was the Funnest and Scariest night of my life. But, never again.

BTW, you aren't hating, just telling the truth. What he did wasn't smart and was dangerous. He should have been more aware of what he was doing. I get worried when I get close to 90mph, but 110, WhooooWEEE

pcguy2k1 February-6th-2003 06:56 PM

Hey, I hit 110 like 2 weeks ago, just to see how fast the pro could go, but it was a completly open highway, and a nice clear day, I didn't push it any more becuase there were cars ahead, so I slowed dow to a more resonable 85mph, I would want ot keep it anyhigher for a long time, the RPM's were pretty damn high in 5th gear, reaching 6K when getting 110. Fun shit, as long as no one is in danger, (damn I love drving 10am on a straight highway on a work day)

protege563028 February-11th-2003 03:42 PM

In Missouri they can take you license on the spot for doing 30 over the legal speed limit. Luckily I haven't had that happen. But I have tried to ditch cops before and mine Never has a happy ending.

I don't know. I tried calling her like twice, but got nothing. And I kinda forgot where she lived. I think she might be working a lot now. Probably between her day job and her voluntary work at the Fire Station.
