New Kills

OK raced 3 more cars this weekend. One was a civic hatch with a D16 non-vtec with a drag-3 turbo on it and we hung steady till i rocked the N2O and then blew him away. Second battle was a turbo 740 volvo with a t3/t4oe upgrade and running 10 lbs of boost same story as the civic but i actually pulled on him with the Nitrous. The last was another 1st gen Eclipse turbo GSX rolling start i took him but dead stop he took me from the benifit of his AWD.

Awesome car man.

I read the specs on it at Protegetech, which from the pic I believe is yours. Just wondering, have you considered an LSD? With your turbo setup that could seriously help your launches.

Yeah I have considered it but I just don't have the money for one. I mean close to 1500 bucks is a large chunk of change to put down. Right now I'm happy with what I got. Oh yeah the pictures on Protegetech do not do my setup justice. Those pics were taken the day after I put it on and I still had alot of clean-up to do on it.

yeah I sort of forgot they were that much...

Anyway I have been doing a lot of research on turbos and our cars. I have a P5 and am trying to save up enough money to get some sort of setup whether it be custom or a complete kit. How much was your custom setup? I remember reading a thread a while ago and you mentioned that you did not have an intercooler yet, does this seriously effect the amount of boost you can run? I had heard a lot about pistons melting or something. It looks like my best bet for now is Corksports upcoming kit, but the cheaper one does not include an intercooler. anyway your car kicks ass!

Any help you can give me i would appreciate
thanks

Non-intercoller on an FMU you can run 5-6 PSI max on our engines intercooled on an FMU you can run 7-8 PSI and there is a large difference in power.
