My Mazda 3's first races :)
 

Well first thread thingy but whatevs imm post a story :p

So I'm a fairly new driver (actually don't even have a liscense, but that's a diff story) and I got my dads nearly new unused 07 Mazda 3. He never drove it so he gave it to me. So anyway I'm getting bored so I decide to go for a spin. As I'm driving along (safely and legally) some douchebag in a old ass 19-who knows what jetta with 17 inch black rims starts following really close behind me. So me tryna make some space speed up about 10 or 20 kms, and he starts gaining on me again since its a single lane road. After about 2 or 3 mins of this the road turns into two lanes at an intersection leading to the highway with nobody ahead of us. He pulls up beside me and his buddy rolls down the window and ask "Hey kid! Wanna race?" Me being an avid player of the need for speed series and such related titles accept without hesitation. So as we wait at the red light I shift into overdrive 1st gear. As soon as the light turned green I just hit it. I went flying down the highway and by the time I was in 3rd gear I could already see him in my rearview. He tried for about 2 km to catch up but he absolutly got dusted. When I knew I had one I looked back to see if he was rolling up behind me, I could see him turning around heading back to the city. I laughed soo hard because I only had a stock while his was all tuned up and he still lost. Prolly the most memorable race ever :D
