Toyota Matrix v Mazda 3

Not that this story was safe at all, but this stupid a$$ and his girl in a Matrix decided to take a stab at a Mazda3. They did not realize what they were in for. Here is what happened. I left my family's house and was heading home. Hitting traffic, I wanted to get ahead of traffic so I hit it just enough to move through. I found my holes and was happy at the front. I look in my rear view and see this Matrix jumping around behind me. He gets past traffic and goes past me.

I think to myself, let's have fun. I see a stop sign coming up and figure this will be to fun. Guess what this punk see's me coming and takes off, fast does not give me the chance for a real fair challenge. I get to the sign and make sure no one is coming and go. He does this again at another stop sign.

I get behind him and flash my lights, he goes I follow. We get to light traffic, this is where my dumba$$ has fun. He pushes his engine to 4,000 rpms and keeps going. He has a good lane no one in front. I have one truck ahead of me and the only lane of traffic open was the e-lane. You guessed it, I hit 5,000 rpms in 3rd and did not stop and went for it. I had a drive way with a car to my right, thank god he did not move, and a truck that I had to get around. After my stupid move, pls don't do, I hit 4th gear and 5500 rpms I was able to get back in my lane.

The Matrix's was behind me at this point sooooo I jump in front of him and gun it. Not sure if the Matrix was giving up, but he honked 3 times. I ignore him. My 3 is hitting 6600 rpm's I switch to 5th and do not let up. I see the Matrix falling behind. I hit a stop light and the Matrix catches up. By this point I am lauging. Traffic in front of us both, he sits a little bit ahead of me in the right lane.

I figure he is done. His girl ashamed and his ego crushed. Nope light goes green he runs. I am not able to due to traffic. No worries tho. I get behind him after "dancing" in traffic and, another dumb move, I sit on his a$$ and flash my lights again. This time he does not move. I go around very slowly. I am next to him and look at them both grin and gun it! The funny part next. I am done with having fun at this point and go the speed limit (speed limit 55 me 65, close enough). The matrix gets next to me and here it comes, the driver flips me the bird!

HHAAA!!! I then return the favor with a gyration motion. Long live the Zoom Zoom!

One of my friends cars got totaled when someone pulled that move and lost control.

I appreciate the 'don't do this' disclaimer. I really hope you don't do it again either.

Beat 'em at the light up to the speed limit and knock it off. It will prove the point and do it with min. risk to you and others.

I have missed many an oppty to slam someone because i could not do it safely.

[end sermon]

E-Lane = emergency lane on the side of most roads and highways.

Cool

; true. but mostly you just have to know when & where, knowing your area helps out alot! running with the crowd on a busy highway is always an option. like riding a motorcycle, always on the lookout.

That is the dumbest story I have ever read. Not only will stuff like that give Mazda owners a bad name, but how would you know his engine was at 4,000 rpm? Im pretty sure you were either playing your little brother in a video game or you made this story up.
