So I'm leaving the gym with my fiance. Driving along and this dude comes flying by me in a black Nissan 240sx and its loud as ****. It wasn't a huge exhaust tip or anything but I could tell he was at least catless by the smell and the sound. We ended up turning down the same 2 lane road, we were both behind a Camry doing about 5 mph over the speed limit. This dude was being a **********, tailgating the lady and swirving all around. I joked with my fiance that if we got beside him on the 4 lane road we were about to turn on to I was going to race him, even though I had NO idea what he had under the hood and I don't know anything about the 240sx. I told her I might rape him and he might smoke my *** but lets just have some fun. (As you can tell I don't really let whether another car is faster than me affect my pride like some. Its all in fun.) Anyway, it just happens that we both got stopped at the light. The road was wide open in front of us for about 1/4 mile, or maybe a little longer, until the next light, which was red with some cars stopped at it. It was slightly uphill, and I had my 130lb fiance plus 50lbs or so worth of cargo in the car. So we are stopped for like 5 seconds and the light turns green. I didnt launch, and I kept the traction control on, but after I got going I was wide open, and so was the other guy. I made perfect shifts into 2nd and 3rd gears at 5500. At about 40 mph I had about a half a car on him. By the time we got to 80 he was very slowly pulling. We were coming up on stopped traffic so I shut down well short to be safe. Being what I assume is a dumb teenager, he wasn't giving up until after me, so I let him have it. I ended up losing by a fender, but with no clue what would have happened if we had open road in front of us, we weren't going uphill, or I didnt have a passenger. Oh well, the competition is always fun. I know I will post my kills, just like I posted that Mustang GT story a while back, so I figured I'd post em all. Like I said I know nothing about the 240sx but I guess they are pretty light and sneaky quick. (Unless something is wrong with my car, which I don't think.)

was he turboed? cause he kept up with you. some of them are turbo, my buddy has one with the sr 20 jdm motor and it's quick and loud even with a cat but he has 3inch exhaust from the turbo back. go mazda!

My GF has a 240sx with nothing special in it. I have a speed3 and hate drving her car. I was once drivin home in the 240 from a party with her passed out in the passenger seat when a f**king Hyundai Sonata came up on me and tried gettin my attention. I dropped into third and felt a little pull (not enough for the ungodly noise and dangerously high rpms) and shifted soon into fourth, with the sonata's rear doors level with my front doors.... Anyway, the governer kicked in at about 118mph (even though i had a whole other gear and at least 1500rpms in fourth to go) and watched as this teenager in his mom's church-sedan SLOWLY pull away.

And i mean slowly. He must've been topped out at 119mph, lol. I've done 155 on that same road in my baby. Woulda made him cry.
Needless to say i drive everywhere now. :P
