Anybody have any stories on how they killed a HONDA CIVIC?
Tell me about it!!! IMO, to many people own them, and that's why I hate them so much. Also, Stock Protege ES VS. Stock Civic Si, who would win???

Just simply, a stock Civic Si, and a Stock Protege ES.

Having owned both, my Si would have killed my ES. The Protege, in stock form, is not meant for racing. Hell, with the Si, the MP3 is a joke. I'm not trying to start anything, just relaying the facts.

2002 Model
Stock Civic SI - 160 HP i-VTEC
Stock Protege Ex - 130 HP

Civic SI has more advanced engine and better valve timing. It would def. win a race. However, I think you could beat a Civic EX even though the VTEC's handle high rev's better than our engines.

and I also believe the Protege ES can beat a Civic EX in 1/4 mile...

hmm, my roommate has a '02 auto EX (I have auto too). I think it's time to settle it once and for all!!! :D

Civic Si - 160HP - 0-60 in 7.0s
Pro - 130HP - 0-60 in 8.5s

1.5s diffrence.. that is like 2 car lengths... Civics Si's are not slow, Civic Type R's are also not slow

CTR's are hella fast for an econobox, 180PS!!!!!!!! 0-60 in like 6.2s!!!
