Four Wheeler That Hung With 5.0's At The Races
 

I saw a four wheeler at the races last night that was beaten the shit out of cars left and right, but it could hang with a 5.0. It was bad ass.

Yeah, some of those are deceptively fast. One of the times at the strip there was a early Toyota Forerunner (sp?) running on 39" Mickey Thompson Baja Kings. I kinda chuckled until he launched. Thing had a 383 Chevy and was running low 15's (at 2700').

The funniest one was a '01 Ford F-350 Super-Duty Crew Cab 4 x 4, with 35" BFG All-Terrains. Powerstroke Diesel. He had the fuel turned WAY up, so it smoked so bad it dissappeared like a WWII PT Boat (leaving smoke behind).
The thing had too much power for the BFGs, which spun mercilessly (I guess he couldn't hear them over the roar of the Powerstroke), and he launched off for a 15.20 @ 92 mph. I'd have hated to be the guy running next to and behind him, eating all that smoke.:D
