Thanks for the advice. I figured that if I just told my case and show him my reciept and defective part (its a little harness thing), he would let me go. I dont mind going to court, I can just have lunch with my dad or somthing in town then go to court. I just hope he doesnt say somthing like "I dont see any labor charge" and think I am lying. (my dad took it into work tuesday and did the labor himself).
One time, I went to court for going 38 in a school zone. 1st day of school and I didn't realize that! I was going to plead no contest and ask for defensive driving. The judge looked at the ticket, found an error (the time wasn't right) and she said "Dismissed!" *Whew* |

"No, I do not know why you pulled me over, is there something that I did wrong?" This way there is no admission on guilt. At this point and in this case (the officer would have pointed out your lights being on) You're reply, "O, I did not know that, thank you I will get it looked at right away." and away you go with a fix it ticket. Another good question cops present is "Do you know how fast you were going?" and the correct answer to this is. "I am aware of the speed I was travelling, but I am uncertain as to the speed your equipment indicates, what does it show?" And if all of this is too much to remember, a simple YES No answer is all that is needed. |
