Drag Ladder
 

Hey protege members, i was just wondering if every body wanted to start a drag ladder, i dont know how we could do it but maybe the admin fella can do some thing i dont know. I started my drag ladder about 3 months ago this is it

sounds good man, wish i had a turbo.. cant you beat WRX's with a turbo.. :(

haha i wish i could!! its my dream to beat WRX's but around here they kick my ass dry.. but that's all good.. I respect WRX's and I will hopefully have one some day... ahhh its a dream :D

I hope mazda brings out protege's in AWD

Both cars are my friends dad's... richies thought they had the best of my little 4 cyl.. now if I could only find some traction.. time to get some nice coil overs to take care of it...

The BMW M-coupe is a 2000 and runs a 14.2 in the 1/4 and I took him all the way to 100.. then the benz runs a 14.93 in the 1/4 and I took it all the way to 80 before the radar detectors started screaming

Sure you can beat a WRX, but only on the street, It could take as long as half a mile and maybe up to 5th gear.

igdrasil.. sweet kills! I'm running at about 10psi.. with a tt motorsports turbo (company here in FL).. its capable of 15PSI but the engine and tranny at the moment aren't capable of it.. it cost me hell compared to the flyinmiata kit I had before.. I run a 14.010 with at least 500 pounds worth of stereo.. haha oh so every time I accelerate the back tips down and the front comes up and i lose traction.. but sweet kills! what do you run in the 1/4 it must be hella fast too

:mad: hell man, Ive always had crappy times on the track. Never done better than 2.6 on the 60ft. All cars Ive raced get 3 cars ahead on starts, but then I pull by the 1/8. Too much wheelspin.
15.1 is my best time. Ive only raced like 5 times.
Ah..dont forget my stock clutch slipping on 3rd and 4rth.:rolleyes:

With all that, I have nice kills on the street.

i find that when ya want to drag, we have got both scanners and detecters.... i just need a turbo now, my aim is to beat a WRX, got told by my preformance place that i will be able to, but by the looks of you guys i wont be able to.....

you guys seam to have fun trying to find traction have you guys tryed to put wide drift tyres on the front when ya drag, dont know i got a set in the shed, there 215/65/14.... im just waiting for a turbo..

of course it's possible to beat a WRX, but your best bet would against a mildly modded or stock one .. unless of course, you also find one with a sucky driver whom doesn't use the AWD advantage .. also .. try get to race them to race from a roll, that's always a disadvantage ;)
