Dont underestimate trucks

My friend was driving his dad's 1996 F-250. it has the turbo-diesel engine and some kind of aftermarket intercooler. we were playing around the streets and shyt and we decided to race. At the beginning i was ahead of him by not too much. but after like 1/10th of a mile he just pulled up and away and left me there. I guess its because of all the torque that beast has. O well im never going to underestimate the power of trucks.

I find that kind of hard to believe given that diesel engines take about 20 minutes to rev up...

The PS diesel used in Ford trucks will shit 'n git. They have very quick acceleration considering the circumstances. Torque monster, yes. HP: enough. It doesn't surprise me in the least that you got beat.

All in all, it goes to show that people will race anything.
