95 chevy capriece

i had a chance with a caprice and dont know why i beat it but he pulled up next to me and i started foward faster and he pulled up to me so i just droped it a gear and took off to see where things will go and he tryed to keep up but i was gone...yeah i know short and lame but hey i beat a so called cop car....lol

macdaddyslomo July-2nd-2004 04:56 PM

they were heavy as hell and did come in a V6 version too

MyLowPro5 July-2nd-2004 10:28 PM

well he must have had the v6...i didnt pay attention on what all you have in your car.....but i have an actual 95 caprice police edition cruiser(ya know full blown police package lt1, hell it even has hooker headers on it i though that was sweet) in my garage. and i raced a freind of mine in his 98 gtp....he said i took him cuz he didnt have traction, but hell i started to light them up as i took off also. i was pullin on him and i didnt even have it mashed all the way down. so yeah the v8s can pull very hard for being a big car. its loaner from my g/fs old boss...he wants a grand for it...im gonna offer 500. but anyways...either way good kill. but watch em...their quick :D

He's a lying sack of shit. I've driven a dozen GTPs from 97-99 and they all had traction control.

macdaddyslomo July-3rd-2004 12:59 PM

actually traction control CAN be turned off though...simple flick of a switch

MyLowPro5 July-3rd-2004 05:52 PM

forgot a part..lol

yeah i was really worn out from work so i was typing fast to get to bed. i forgot....it was slightly wet out(just enough to spin em on any car). and yes they do lose some of there traction with the traction control on,not enough to determine a race. he wants a rematch when its totally dry out. but right now the caprice cant be drivin. so no hes not a lying sack of shit.....did he lose either way...yup and he will lose again....YES...LOL.:D

any GTP would smmmmoke a protege. END of story.

MyLowPro5 July-14th-2004 01:45 PM

yes a n/a protege will lose to a gtp hands down. ive done it many times losing to my friend in his(always race him even though i know im gonna lose) the part about the gtp came into play when i used it to compare how fast the caprices are. he smoked the caprice in his protege...highly unlikely unless it was the v6 or the guy wasnt racing. i was pulin on my friends gtp in the caprice.....a turbo protege though would hang very well with a gtp.

Yeah, but what the fuck kind of idiot would turn it off if they're racing??

macdaddyslomo July-14th-2004 07:56 PM

language please....:nono: ....however to answer your question...the same idiots that street race:rolleyes:...although in a road race turning off traction control can help getting around corners...plus tractiuon control isnt going to help to much if you have bald tires and wet roads:p
