02 Protege ES vs. 02 Sentra GXE vs. 96 Accord LX
 

Yea i was just wondering who would win this race?
a 02 Protege ES, a 02 Sentra GXE or a 96 Accord LX. i was just wondering because those are my friends cars but we havent raced yet, lemme kno (oh yea. all these cars are stock and automatic)

I would probably say that it would be close all around. Yours has 130 HP, the 01' GXE had 126(think the 02' is the same), and the accord has 140 (maybe less depending on the engine)?. I would think the accord might have a small advantage over the other two if it is in good running condition. My girl friend drives a 01' GXE w/5 speed. Did not drive as nearly as nice as my 01' ES 2.0. Probably was a little slower though, becasue the gear ratio was not as close as the mazda's. My P5 now drives very nice.

Go for the race and find out. Should be close.

I say it would be close too. The 96 Accord LX I believe has a 2.2L SOHC non-VTEC I4 good for around 130hp and 139lb torque.

i think you could beat the accord b/c my sister had an 01 protege LX and her boyfriend had to use NOS to catch up. i think he had a 96 or a 97.

just to let everyone know that a 96 lx is slower than a slow civic ex. it weighs 3 gran! with a whopping 130+ hp WoW!:D
