Ouch!! I know that student was pissing in his pants and skipping heartbeats. Though it was stupid of the kid, hopefully he was able to get off easier.

I watched that last year...that was hilarious!

Two things. First, the person who stole the laptop was a moron for taking something, especially out of a classroom (I hate thieves too). Second, I would imagine the guy who lost the laptop would be in big trouble himself for having all that classified info on a computer that was just sitting around. He was probably messing himself just as much as the person who took it.

i remember this from a while back. the laptop did contain sensitive documents, but the prof grossly overexaggerated the contents of the laptop probably as a scare tactic. but he did call the FBI and they were (or are still) investigating.
you could buy a laptop for a dime a dozen these days, why go to the bother of stealing a professors? the kid probably already pawned it off for pills or pot.
