Definately looks bettter, the stock wheels were curbed and beat to hell! 4x4 look will be changed once my springs and struts come!

Wow, the style is practically the same, I wouldnt have even noticed they were different if I didnt notice the size difference, pretty cool...

5SpeedP5 April-16th-2006 09:32 PM

they definately look better though. the diffrence is really not that huge, but i dont want a set of wheels that are flashy and aftermarket.... ive done that, and i dont want to on this car.

t24u April-20th-2006 02:27 AM

Yeah they definetely do look better. I think you made a nice choice. I wouldnt mind some RX-8 rims for my RX-7.

Where did you find the rims? Ebay?

5SpeedP5 April-22nd-2006 06:07 PM

nah i got lucky, some dsm guy locally had them on his car and wanted to get rid of them cheap (180 bucks!). i thought about rx8 wheels, however i didnt want to go that big really.

eggynatey April-27th-2006 02:37 PM

They wont fit on a P5 anyway. Too wide.

The 6 rims look nice!

5SpeedP5 April-27th-2006 08:21 PM

you sir are wrong, i have seen many protege5s with rx8 wheels, as well as a MSP here in town rockin them since his stockers got stollen. not only do they look good but seem to fit ok, may need to mess with some things to get them to fit right.

eggynatey April-28th-2006 12:32 PM

Yeah. Just get a set of 35 series tires and keep your car at stock height. Then roll the fenders.

I guess I'm just old school, but I like wheels that have the correct offset/width for my car. :D

Looks good man!

LouKY3 May-7th-2006 09:19 AM

Yep. There's something to be said for subtle style. Good looking upgrade. So is that a P5 with size 6 feet?

5SpeedP5 May-7th-2006 12:53 PM

got a few more upgrades on the way today, ordered up:
Skunk2 coilovers
mazdaspeed axel-back exhaust
jdm tails
autoexe grill
