Some Pics of my 02 MP5.

Well, got it last Wednesday, traded in my Spec-V for this and I love it. It's all stock now. I need to get the polished wheels and the windows tinted first. Then an intake and others...also it hasn't been washed since I picked it up.

nice car man :)

how does it handle in corners and turns compared to the spec v?

Glhboy June-10th-2003 06:17 PM

The Spec handled better, but I can change that with a few things. The only thing I miss is the torque of the Spec.

My 03 SE-R wastes my new 03 Protege5 in the corners and straight line. 165hp and 175 lb-ft of torque makes a big difference. We traded a 01 Eclipse GT for the P5 which is awhole lot better car. The P5 is getting the Mazdaspeed exhaust and the wind splitter installed on it. Other plans are a AEM CAI and tinted windows. Nismo has alot of parts for the B15 Sentra plateform but they are very expensive. The P5 is alot cheaper of insurance then the SE-R.

Actually on the insurance rates, my P5 is more expensive than the SE-R was. I'm married and have never had a ticket either. I had a CAI, Catback exhaust and a few other things on the Spec-V, heck it's for sale still at the Mazda Dealer.

Well I have 1 ticket and my partner has a clean record. We traded a 01 Eclipse GT in for the p5 and the insurance dropped $400 dollars.

Were you ever on www.thevboard.com or www.b15sentra.com???

Yes, I was on both boards, the v board more so than b15 because of a lot of assholes over there. I don't post much, just read.

I actually just posted a for sale thread over at the v board recently for a pair of 2 Dunlop 214/45 17" snow tires for sale that I had on my Spec-V for about 200 miles.
