Rice Rice Baby!

Ok, now I don't have an example to start with, but lets start a collection of the most riced out cars in your area.

Please no google images, just some of the worst local cars you've snapped a shot of!

oh lord, should have taken a picture of the corsica i saw about 2 hours ago....

"nascar style" rear deck spoiler, cowl induction hood, ground effects, dual exhaust tips...

Haha, yeh that's what I'm looking for! After work I'm gonna go rice hunting, heh.

There have been more cop cars rolling on 24's lately than ricers it seems.
Next time I go through Meridian, I'll try to grab a pic of the 240sx with the vent visors stuck to the hood, 6 inch wide checkerboard pin stripes, and the tail wing that was twice the height of the car.

I have a couple, but no pics unfortunately.

First was a Miata, with some weird ground effects and a pedestal wing on the back. Oh, and chrome hubcaps (the kind you see at WalMart that stick out a good foot). Only good thing about it was that it was black so it blended into the background. I swear the poor car was trying to dig itself into the ground.

Second one was pretty subtle. It was a Suzuki Samurai with a VTEC sticker on the front fender. I laughed so hard I almost missed the light.

Let me check, I may have a picture I took of a CRX from a cable car going up the side of the island of Madeira last year. It was pretty bad. Proof that the rice phenomenon isn't restricted to these United States.

This made my day just reading it. I should have some pics by now, but everytime I see something good, I'm driving and can't very well stop and take a picture.

First off, saw this truck on the freeway, huge window decal, and green walmart flames. Even on the rear Ford badge. Awesome!

Of course the altezzas are a must.

These 3 are good.

First, a hearse with quad exhaust and a decal reading "west side". Lolwhut? Also, it has a yellow sticker on the plate, meaning class 5 use (residential). That means it's not owned by a business (black sticker)...

Then an Echo with a very out of place looking exhaust. 4" pipes are OK, but on such a small car just looks funny.

And to end it, a dual colored neon, in black/purple, sporting silver altezzas and middle mounted exhaust pipes :)

Okay, here's that car I shot on the island of Madeira (located mid-Eastern Atlantic Ocean) about 18 months ago. Of note are the off-color hood, missing front bumper, Honda sticker across the back window (right where it blocks the view), funky rear bumper, and you can barely make out the dual exhausts.

J-Protege June-16th-2007 04:07 AM

I like how it's right beside a VW "unpimp the auto" Golf (maybe it's a Jetta?).

I bet he traded his front and rear bumpers for that rear body kit, lol.

chiefmg's yellow-orange honda pic is the riciest yet. on the deville/hearse pic, the quad pipes were fortunately stock (it is a caddy deville originally), and the bumper cutouts are purposefully large enough to accomidate. if any of you have seen the new gmc acadia crossover, it too has quad pipes, which i find maybe a bit much. it still works, i guess. oh well.

J-Protege June-17th-2007 01:49 AM

Yeh, the hearse looks pretty normal. It was the decal that said 'west side' on it, and the fact that it was a personal car, not a business car that made it stick out. I'll try to find some better ones, hard to catch them as you see most on the road.
