Removing "ES" decals
Simple enough question: what's the easiest way to remove the "ES" decals on my fenders without damaging the paint underneath?

Sorry, I just realized I posted in the wrong category

I'll move it for you, but I'm afraid I can't answer your question.

sounds ghetto, but seriously a fingernail and some elbow grease. then a little wd-40 to remove the "sticky"...if you want to get all techie, use a heat gun(blow dryer) and a credit card.
|
heat gun and dental floss should get it out.
not sure if u have holes under that badge though |
Dental floss wont work. this "badge" is actually just a clear decal with ES lettering.
|
I took off my stickers by first using a hair dryer to heat it up, then it just peeled right off. I used Turtle Wax's Bug & Tar Remover to clean up the sticky stuff and it comes out perfectly.

ITS A 3 STEP DEAL.
Place car in sun to heat up decal remove decal with finger nail and finger remove "goo" with "Goo Gone, WD40 or "desolve it", whichever works or you have... I just did this to my LX along with removing the pinstrip, dealer sticker, etc... |
I just took off the "ES" badges... looks great, a lot cleaner... thanks to all
