Spring install went well, apart from the fact that my rear left strut went out on me and I was forced to sideline the car for the weekend. I HATE BAMA ROADS...lemme just get that out there.

Anywho, $67 dollars later, I was back in business....until Miller (AnarchistChiken) and I had a convo about the set he had laying in his garage (So, I got my money back :) ). So, roadtrip it was....jumped in the GS-T and headed upstate to B'ham. Hmmm, wonder where we could meet up? See below if you're curious.

Miller...you're such a pimp dude.
Anyway...those streaks on the wheel are...yup you guessed it....baaaaah.
So...anyway...I'm getting rims anyway. Oh yeah...thanx Miller for letting me borrow that spare wheel you had also...no more flat spot action...lol.

Oh yeah...the only payment for the hookup...was well...Hooters wings and curly fries. You can't beat that w/a baseball bat.
Thanks again bro...good looking out.

miller let you borrow a wheel and he got fed? wow...with all the free work I've been doing I should live in a castle and have my own autobiographical movie about me starring Kevin James (or Larry the Cable Guy).

springs look good. You should've gotten a before and after pick of the exact same angle to show the difference.

JDM-P5 June-5th-2005 04:54 PM

Damn....good point.

I still technically can...I have before pics....I can just take one in the similar fashion I suppose.

Thanks for the comment....she looks really good.

Well, I'm off to the pool....peace bitches!

Hired help SHOULD get paid in some way...usually it's beer...but Matty & Miller don't partake in the golden goodness...so it's food and/or a place to crash at. Either way...it's a win/win.

Roddimus Prime June-5th-2005 11:23 PM

I have my own food and place to crash....at my place I even have my own bed!

Just fyi, 5 hours of strut/spring install @ $65/hr (typical shop rate) = $325. But who's counting??

Ha ha...on base...$3/hr = $15....gotta love the benefits.

i meant the work I did would've cost $325. That's why I'm not doing any more freebies. I'm tired of watching everyone else get their cars modified while I'm sitting around wondering when I'll be able to do something to my own. It's one thing to be a nice guy it's another to just be gullable and feel used.

get a set of sways on your car and you'll really feel the difference in those springs.

True true...I feel yah...that's why I try and keep my peeps satisfied man. I told you we still have to hit the sushi spot up down here...so next time (this weekend maybe?) we head down there. Bring the SC and knock it out down here.

JDM-P5 June-6th-2005 09:16 AM

I haven't rolled around on them in ages...just trying to free up some space in the garage ya know! Tires are excellent, only a few Ks on them, Toyo Proxes T1-S 205/40/17s.
