tight headlights, and intake. paint the strut bar same color as the car too!

Funky Buddha May-16th-2003 11:40 AM

Thx for the compliments guys. HKF..I owe you one for finding the grill. I was gonna get the strut bar, rad cap, and oil cap powdercoated this week but opted to go tint instead.

Leung...you can get the Siverstars @ www.powerbulbs.com
They sell them and it costed me around 67CDN and took 1.5 weeks to deliver. Very, very bright.

Now I gotta change the lower mesh to match the top. Any ideas? Any how-to's?

Hong Kong Fever May-16th-2003 05:10 PM

NP man, don't worry about it, its always good to help out a friend :D

Yo Glen..... nice grille :D

I've also got the same blue AEM as you.... but just looking at the pics... i have one question..

you know that bolt that has the rubber piece on it?

I see that yours is on top of the bolting plate.... when i installed mine it had to go UNDER...

would there be a diff?

Probably as it is supposed to hold up the intake. With the bolt on top, the intake doesn't flex as much, I think. Plus the rubber for that bolt is supposed to cushion the intake's movement when accelerating. Just like engine mounts flex when the engine moves back and forth under throttle.
