hey all,

just joined up. wanted to say a quick hello. not even sure if this is the right section to go into, but thought i'd take a stab.
about me:
i live in melbourne, australia
i drive a 06 FL crystal white sp23 auto sedan.
just started modding after 6 months of ownership which include:
18" warwic mesh rims wrapped in toyo proxes 4 tires
lowered 35mm front and rear on king lows
mazda speed valve caps
axela badge on the trunk
i have just ordered a stubby antenna off ebay, and will order a set of DDE's/angel eyes from xenon expert in the next couple of weeks.
things are much harder to come by here down under when it comes to modding, and even standard equipment is different. some of the things that are not availalbe to us here in australia when ordering the car are sunroof and satnav. which i would have definately ordered. even having an aftermarket sunroof fitted voides our warranty!!!
anyway enough about me. here are the pics. let me know what you think!

very nice...get me some interior pics. I love RHD vehicles...even if we have identical models over here.

What part of Melbourne are you in? I was thinking of vacationing on the gold coast later this year.

I just got back from Australia last Thursday actually, and I gotta say your country is amazing! I spent a week in Sydney, week in Adelaide, and two weeks in Perth. I really wanted to swing by Melbourne too but I had to visit family first before traveling for fun.

Anyway, great looking car. Love those rims!! Enjoy your stay, I'm sure you'll like it here.

yeah those tail lights are stock. only available on the sp23 (GT?) and MPS (Mazdaspeed) over here is Australia.

Krayzie Fox: glad you enjoyed your stay here down under... but have to say you missed the best part... Melbourne! I've been all over this very big island and lived in Sydney for some time... but Melbourne is still the best place to be!

update on mods:
another 3 owner down here is selling his car and i am going to swap over my entire headlights with his so i can take his DDE's.
i should also be getting the red light up scuff plates at the same time.
i've ordered a custome dead pedal from the states... should be here next week (hopefully)
i'm still waiting on my stubby antenna!
tint job is coming soon too!!!!

and instead of a stubby? why not get a sharkfin??

I like those purple foglights, haha. Very clean car, keep up the good work!

i only like sharfins on the hatches. i figure a white sharkfin is going stick out too much while a black stubby will sort of get lost in the background... which is what i'm after.

true say..... just take one off a CX7.... sorry, 'buy' a cx7 stubbie :P

yeah nice refraction of light there to give the purple lens flare.
