This was taken in January when there was still plenty o snow. Hoping to post some new ones soon after I get a good wax job on my baby.

Gawd I love this car!

Hi, I can't believe no one else has welcomed you yet to the board. Welcome and nice ride.

MP5BuckeyeGirl March-25th-2004 09:04 AM

Hey thanks! It's good to be acknowledged. :)

Yeah, it's still all stock except for a K&N air filter.

I wonder who's going to be the first person to make a million dollars by simply creating mud guards for the pro 5.

I bought it from a Mazda dealer with 13k miles on it and I've already zoomed up past 16k. It's just way too fun to drive!

Thanks again for the welcome!

Welcome to the club and congrats on the P5. Hope it brings you as much fun and good times that my 91 LX has brought me.

BTW, you can try going to a auto parts store like Pep Boys and they sell universal mud guards there. Just look on the back of the package to see if it will fit your car.

Thanks for the tip!
I'll take a trip there this weekend.

Yeah, I hope this car makes me happier then I have been with my previous Fords. :)

LaserBlueES April-27th-2004 08:32 PM

Congrats on your purchase, and welcome to the boards! My neighbor across the street has a dark blue P5, and she loves it. I was thinking about going for the P5 but I couldn't find one around here with a 5-speed AND all the equipment I wanted. So a laser blue ES sedan it was...

RODSCALIP5 May-19th-2004 07:58 AM

Welcome to the board buckeye!!!!! Lots of info in here :D

FocalFlareES May-19th-2004 11:45 AM

Welcome buckeye and thanks for caring about my accident and what not. For some good go fast parts and anything else check out protegegarage.com. You should find some nice things for your P5. Congrats on the P5 as well just stay away from people who don't pay attention to the road. I am speaking from experience.

Redfyre May-19th-2004 12:10 PM

I think the dealership has mudguards for the P5 do they not? I remember seeing them in the catalogue...

PS. Nice roof rack. I like the American version better than the Canadian ones.

MP5BuckeyeGirl May-19th-2004 12:28 PM

FocalFlareES-
Thanks. I'll check it out. Yeah, I almost raised my insurance to a $500 deductible but with the way people drive these days I think I'll stick with $250.
I-75 is always a mess when I've drove through there, I bet it was a disaster when your accident occurred.
Redfyre- I think they have mudguards for the sedan protege, maybe canada has mudguards for the P5 but not here.

FocalFlareES May-20th-2004 10:53 AM

Better believe it. 75 is always a hell hole. Especially w/all the construction goin on by my house. I just hope this all ends soon.
