Is that a Saturn?

OPRAKU October-5th-2002 11:05 PM

haha looks like it could be huh? It's a '95 Subaru SVX

protetype October-6th-2002 12:34 PM

i've always liked the looks of the SVX's. not too sure about the engines in em, or aftermarket support. but i'd definately cruise one. :) this gonna be a second car?

OPRAKU October-6th-2002 01:46 PM

eh.. aftermarket stuff sucks on this car since Subaru didn't sell much of 'em... so it would be as it..

Of course it be a second car man.. I couldn't part with my Pro.. LOL

mnkyboy October-6th-2002 01:50 PM

What are the specs on that car? How much can you get it for?

Identity_X October-6th-2002 02:20 PM

As far as I can remember the back of the car is sweet IMO.....
If you find a good deal on it you might as well get it, but with the money you will spend buying the car, you could do a lot of things to your Pro..............................it's your pick.:D

mnkyboy October-6th-2002 05:27 PM

Ive never seen one of these cars before, so I started doing some research :D. Heres a pic I found that looks pretty nice

Looks like a 1995 SVX goes for about $10k. How much can you get that one for?

OPRAKU October-6th-2002 07:45 PM

well at first I found a '92 White one for 3,500 bucks, but seeing that they are pretty much in the 10k range on average... that one went before I could even pick up a phone and inquire about it.. this red one is on sale for 9,500 so.. eh.. thinking about it...

OPRAKU October-6th-2002 07:48 PM

one downside to them is that Subaru didn't anticipate the car to be so heavy... so axles and rotors aren't so reliable...

Most common problem from what I've heard and read is that they warp pretty badly and mechanics are pretty much out in the dark when it comes to repairing them...
