Damn I miss mine. Only two more months to go...

Lookin' good Matty. Did you drop it, it looks a little lower than stock?

Shasta May-13th-2007 09:31 AM

Wonder what the wheel specs are.

Stock MS6 rims
18 X 7
5 X 114.3
+55mm offset
Hub bore 67.1
Weight approx 23-24 lbs

Yes, Mazda continues with their history of oddball wheel offsets. I am looking for a nice set of rims now, choices are very limited. Being who I am I refuse to settle, if I can't find the ones I like then I will do without. The stockers are growing on me though.

Roddimus Prime May-13th-2007 01:29 PM

stock ride height...now with me sitting in it it's a little lower!

kargoboy May-14th-2007 11:51 AM

Nice car, I like it. Everytime I see one it's all I can do to stop myself from buying one.

But if I do I'll never have the money to buy a second car to play around with.

Roddimus Prime May-14th-2007 12:11 PM

i've been really tempted lately to buy another p5 maybe with a bum engine and do a V6 swap on it...I would pimp the hell out of that and probably get pretty decwent mileage.

1. The Mazdaspeed6 is a mammal

2. The Mazdaspeed6 fights all the time.

3. The purpose of the Mazdaspeed6 is to flip out and kill people.

u should add a couple of 6 emblems to your rear end to make it read

"Mazdaspeed 666"

KrayzieFox May-14th-2007 07:46 PM

I'll trade ya my P5 for the Speed 6 Matt :)

Jackelope May-14th-2007 08:02 PM

nice, see you figured the whole iphoto thing out ;)

Roddimus Prime May-14th-2007 08:25 PM

I'm debadging the car and the only emblems will be a red "2.3" badge and a silver "turbo" badge from the acura RDX. even the front grill will be badgeless.

kmaalfiisa May-15th-2007 12:28 AM

going to be the "Mazda 6 that has long forgotten its name"
im not making a joke in anyway

pretty smart to do, seeing alot of new age ricers like stealing badges
my friends 02 berlina S2K was raped of the badges a week after he picked it up

so i must look out for a nameless white mammal out to kill?
gotta make everything hard for people, jeez

have any night shots?

chiefmg May-15th-2007 05:17 AM

Matty, I have one of those badgeless fiberglass AutoEXE replica grilles headed my way. Got it from the guy in Canada on Mazda6club, painted/shipped it cost me $240. Right now I have him tracking it down as the last positive news I had was it was out for paint. Sucks trying to take care of this from out here.

I would like to remove the emblem off the trunk as well, but can't afford the expense of a complete lid repaint after the holes are closed. I'll probably just paint it body color so you can't see it from too far away. The Speed6 stays though, want everyone to know what just flew by them!

Roddimus Prime May-15th-2007 10:08 AM

I'm the opposite. I want everyone to wonder what that was that just roasted them. Without badges you'd have to really know what you're looking at....or else it looks like a 4 door 6-series.

Jackelope May-15th-2007 10:13 AM

only badge remaining on mine is the front grill... ppl think its a honda... even the popo... "was you driving that black honda" - No sir, I drive a mazda ;)

BOOSTD 7 May-15th-2007 10:32 AM

Fixating on badges is a little ricey bro ;)

arcane73 May-18th-2007 12:19 PM

i remember you!
I came in and talked to you when you were just before getting rid of your p5. I was chasing pieces for the gf's 96 protege....broken positive battery terminal.

The pool place in the pics of your new 6 gave it away :)

ps: i'm new here too.

Roddimus Prime May-18th-2007 05:47 PM

what part of town do you live in? I need to find a local 3rd gen owner I can get with on MP3 re-flashes.

If you're down for being the program car I'll do yours for free. I'm in Alabaster/montevallo area.

arcane73 May-18th-2007 10:09 PM

i'm in hoover. roughly 4 miles from where you work...give or take a foot or so
does program car = guinea pig?

Roddimus Prime May-18th-2007 10:35 PM

not really...I just need to borrow your carto swap out ECU's, flash them and then swap them again.

The process takes about 5 minutes each and I'll have about 20 to do. If I get them all in at once we could knock it out in an afternoon and be done in time to go to dinner or something.

I don't work out of that store anymore. I'm a territory sales manager based out of our new Alabaster store. If you'd like to meet up sometime just give me a call. I'll pm you my cell phone #

arcane73 May-18th-2007 10:49 PM

Cool. Replied to your pm.
