changes i made (roughly, not all details)

- edm exklusive to edm sportive bumper incl. fogs
- steel to 15" mazda wheels (17" are here, too but no rubber on them yet)
- eibach prokit 30mm
- postert side skirts
- postert eyelids
- msdesign rear wing (from a 92 civic  )
- ath hinsberger / bastuck exhaust 2x76 DTM style
- steering wheel from a mx5/miata
- b&m shifter
- fs-de strut bar worked on to my zm engine

dude why didnt you go with the postert front bumper? its freaking awesome. id do almost anything to get the full kit.

tailland September-5th-2004 08:47 AM

well..to get a full postert kit:

front bumper 695€ + no fogs avail + skirts 319€ + rear bumper 442€ + eyelids 58€= 1514€ + painting ~450€ + installation ~450€ = 2414€ TOTAL = 2,911.29 USD

i paid:
bumper (mazda oem) 160€ + additional mount material for conversion 230€ + canadian oem fogs 90€ + skirts 180€ + no rear bumper 8( + eyelids 20€ = 680 + painting 290€ and install ~250€ = 1220€ TOTAL = 1,471.32 USD

that's why .......

(the skirts already had a way bad fitment, i can only estimate how much time it would take to make all of the parts fit properly.)

btw: this is the way my car looked when i bought it .. it was a long way to go where i'm now... but really: it was expensive enough i don't wanna spend additional grands on that car...

model R2

dominoy2k1 September-5th-2004 05:08 PM

subtle but cool. you tought about getting some performance mods on your car?

tailland September-5th-2004 06:19 PM

yes of course i did.. problem: german tuev.... even some stupid intake will cause me a lot of trouble 8(
don't really know what to do .. i could go for camgears or chipping..but that would cost a lot here :(
maybe the only real hope would be a zl-ve engine if works together with my t25r transmission... if german tuev allows it :\

german tuev sucks big time

dominoy2k1 September-5th-2004 07:39 PM

damn that sucks. are there any local clubs with forums? i would like to see what everyonne over there is doing.

tailland September-6th-2004 09:27 AM

hm yes, go to http://www.mazda-community.de .. absurd, but it is the largest german online community i know :\
