where did you get that air filter kit for your car???, and did you install it yourself?

the intake and the filter are both rActive. I bought it from Mazda. I had them instal it.

you can buy performance parts from MAZDA?!?!?!?! what else they got? and how much? and where do you live?

Mazda Avante (In RichmonHill, Ontario).

They sell Altezas for the 4 dr pro. (400$ installed)
Intake (200 installed)
Eiback lowering kit (700 installed)

You can buy just the parts which is obvisouly wayyyy cheaper. The intake was 119 (if I remember correctly).

They are trying to get into the aftermarket.....they told me everyone is asking for these parts nowadays...

Lol though. I doubt everyone is asking for performance aftermarket. Most car buyers wouldn't know the first thing about CAI's or Short Ram intakes, etc.

But it's cool that they're trying.

do you notice any performance difference with the new air intake kit?

I got my car at the same dealer!

Nope.....Still dont have my fucking floormats!! I got the car third week in september, and they said the floormats were on backorder. Well it has been almost three months now and still no floormats.

That doesn't sound right. I picked up my car last week in October and it came with the floor mats.

From what I understand the floor mats come shipped with the car in the trunk from the factory. This info comes from a friend who works at a Mazda dealer.

Sounds like they are giving you the run around. Call Mazda Canada direct and bitch about it.

Yeah it sounds like they really have a high cost for installing.

The Mazda dealer where I live is selling me the Ebiach kit for $350 (not installed). I double it costs more than the kit itself to install. (btw I live in Vancouver).
