just wanted to get some opinions on this little project that took me two weekends to finish,.

the paint that was used is the basecoat for a 95 Protege, (bloody thing is expensive, $24/ pint), i put about 6 layers of very fine coats and then topped off with 3 layers of fine clear top coat.

This was my first hands-on project with my new HVLP spray gun.

I think it came out pretty good, just wanted to see what everyone else thinks.


in the future, i would probably do them for anyone interested as well, just supply the paint.

Interiro is pretty much done to what i like. maybe some red neon's in the bottom. now back to engine modding. this weekends project include, engine mount and a new mazdaspeed axleback.

Is that snow under the pedals?

yeah, we had about 3 inchs of snow yesterday, i took the picture right after i got off the car.

looks great .. but i preferred in white

come to think of it, white would have looked cool. but i have this rec/black theme going so i wanted to stick with it.
I dindn't want it to look too off.

Where did you get your built in snow maker complete with foggy windows from i gots to have one?

the windshiled is not foggy, its just that i parked right in front of the garage door.
you are on your own on the snowmaker... ha ha

He did a shitty job though, yours on the otherhand is very very nice.

It looks great!! Where did you get the paint from? I m assuming any auto body shop will make it for you...

Thats the same theme im doing but im putting my avatar in selected places around the car.

yes, any auto paint shop can make it. I prefer using 'Martin Senour' brand paints. the color for the paint, like its mentioned above is the basecoat for the 95 model year Protege, 'vintage red'.
