installed new muffler today
 

I got it in the mail yesterday and had it installed today for 40 bucks
it sounds so sweet,,, nice and mellow, ..
I really wanted to get away from the round cylnder desighn being as they sound so damn loud and annoying
and before you ask the tip is 4.5"

Hey, Bruce, is this muffler like the Dragger Muffler sold on Ebay. Because I have never seen any one have this muffler, so I didn't know how loud this muffler is. I too, want a non-loud muffler.

It is called an R1, it sounds awesome, has a nice smooth growl to it,,,no raspyness, no burping, just a vrooooommmm .... and at like 65 or 70 and the car rpm's at 3k or so , it sounds real quiet ,..
I really like it
And also I love how the tip just fits perfect in that opening ,,, a real good choice by my standards

Thanks MI, that is how I wanted the muffler... I like when the muffler tip fills the hole up and also sits perfectly level with the bumper ... as you can see form the side shot that I took ..
God I have to tell you it sounds so sweet.. My friend heard me pulling up the block and hit my on my 2way and was asking me , was that you ,, damn the car sounds different .... lol

Wow, that muffler looks nice. I usually ignore all the fart can crap on eBay but that one looks very appealing.

Thank you for the compliments Negatize, I also saw your mazdaspeed muffler and listened to the audio wave... The muffler looks great and also sounds great , I did not hear that sound you were talking about at 3K ,, but I know the muffler sounds sweet

anyone with a ruler , could you scroll up and measure that picture of the tip on the car .. I thought I had a ruler handy at work but , I guess not, the tip is 4.5inches , can someone measure that and tell me if they get 4.5inches, ..
just want to see how acurate the camera is

On the car it shows 5.5" on my monitor.. but anyhow, don't listen to "TheMAN". I'm not into rice either, but that exhaust actually looks good on the car... atleast from the pics they do. Keep it up. ;)
