Man I hate you. You only spent 3 bucks, I spent 5 bucks at Home Depot. :D The grill looks great. Did you have trouble cutting it.

pimpprotege69 May-1st-2003 12:39 PM

No trouble cutting it , just used some metal snippers. Watch out for the sharp ends thoe.

I dunno, I just pulled my grills out and painted em an aluminum color. I wasn't to down with the idea of adding extra mesh. I don't like the overlapping look, plus I dunno how much airflow is restricted or if even matters. My shit looks just about the same, cept its all stock. I'll try to get a pic.

those grills are nice and I HAD one on my car...except the first time you hit a bug at 100mph, it won't look so nice. they dent extremely easy.

98zoomzoom May-2nd-2003 06:16 AM

I actually took the middle clip apart and wrapped the middle grill with the mesh so theres no way mine could dent from a bug, its got the support of the stock grill behind it.

Not if you get the right mesh...

walight01 May-2nd-2003 11:49 AM

if you get the 16Ga mesh, but the $3 mesh from home depot is rain gutter mesh and you can tear it with your hands.

98zoomzoom May-2nd-2003 12:10 PM

Mine is gutter guard and theres no way you could tear it with your hands.
