Good news - got an '03 Mazdaspeed Protege! - very good condition - 30k miles on it.

about 1.5 hour.. long enough to drive 50 miles on interstate, eat at Denny's and drive down the road a mile or 2.

oh yah, was pissed, but at least the lady didn't try to act like it wasn't her fault. and if it is totaled, guess i'll be on a Mazda hunt ;)

Nah I dought it will be totalled...believe it or not it is more exspensive to get hit in the ass end than the front...

That seriously sucks. I got rear-ended six weeks after I bought mine and I thought that was bad.

my reaction - Damn it! No! and hit the steering wheel (as i was still sliding across the grass :) - got me a rental car (Burgandy 2005 Ford Focus ZX4 SES)

Damn I'm surprised that wheel looks as good as it does.
