first mod!

Finally, my first mod: Window Tint with Llumar (sp?) 35 on sides, 20 on rear (charcoal), and smoked mirror 18 on moonroof. Legal limit here in SC. Had it done by G&W Window Tinting in Summerville.

Not much I know, but I like it! Can compare to sig for before and after

Wow looks like we all had window tint as out first mod! Actually mine was already done when I got my car but my sister had them tinted. My first mod on my own were clear corners. Ah... eight months ago it was.

My first mod ever was on my Protege, the MP3 strut tower bar! Performance...no need to waste money on tints that gain me nothing.

PS I'd love to have tints, I just don't want to pay for any aesthetic mods that do not give me a performance edge.

glyph_99es Jul 17, 2003 02:16 PM

Maybe not performance, but definitely saves the interior, not to mention objects in the interior, like me and my family, from the heat. AC doesn't have to cool as much either.

Sounds like a "heated" argument ;) I always drive with my windows down, so it isn't too big of a deal for me. I wasn't bashing tint jobs, I'd love to have one, I just don't want to pay $150-200 for it.

oooo, that's a bad pun:thumbs do, for such a hot topic :thumbs do; it's contagious! :D

Let's just put the argument on the back burner for awhile now.
