Ok, so I was looking at one pic I like of my car, and was just thinking how the background was pretty boring.

Then it hit - why not just change it?

So without further adieu:

PS: If anyone wants me to do something like this for them, just post a pic of your car, and mention what you'd like as a background image (you don't need this image, just give me an idea).

Nice idea---but I gotta go off topic here for a sec...where'd you get the grille?
And do you have a more straight-on pic of it?

The grille was from a shop local to me, not sure where he got it. I think there is an eBay vendor selling them as well though.

wanna play w/ one, grab the picture out of my garage taken "between" my cars

that's pretty sweet. as a fellow photoshopper, try the blur tool to get rid of the jagged edge at the top of the car (from swapping in a different background). it helped me/looks more convincing to me......if you already knew that, then don't mind me.

Yeh - I need to smooth it out a bit, the more I look at it the more I see things, haha.

The rough edge is even more obvious with the glow I have on the car.

i find feather selection works great.

Bleh, I have the back all cut out and ready, but can't think of anything non-generic to put in. Do you have a background in mind, or an idea for what should be the backdrop should look like?

I'm just drawing a blank, haha.
