BOOSTD 7 May-14th-2007 09:54 PM

Sweet, slammin' red x's ;)

dentinger May-14th-2007 09:57 PM

dammit.. hold on.. i'll fix it...

KrayzieFox May-14th-2007 10:11 PM

Got it!! Looks sweet, awesome drop!!!!

Just needs a wing now. A nice subtle stock wing ..

BOOSTD 7 May-14th-2007 10:11 PM

Nice, looks much better lowered ... I'm sure it handles better too. Enjoy!

check to make sure the sturts are reassembled in the correct order. I did this on a friends eclipse and accidently put the bumpstop on the outside of the boot....big noises but the car handled great.

eggynatey May-14th-2007 11:08 PM

Looks great, and so do the wheels!

The clunking sound may also be your endlinks. If they're still the stock ones, they're probably a little too long (now that the car's dropped) and may be preloading your swaybars. That's no bueno.

Check the endlinks...Look for a clean spot where they may be coming in contact with something.. :)

jzoomer May-14th-2007 11:35 PM

looks awsome...how hard was it to install those

dentinger May-15th-2007 10:26 AM

um, a little tricky, like, you need to know how to use a spring compressor, but the hard part was just getting the strut out of the lower control arm....
everything else went perfectly.....

and krazieFox, im thinking of getting a RX8 wing sometime next year...
cuz those wings kinda curve to the body lines.

i want something carbon fibre, but i dont know what....

BOOSTD 7 May-15th-2007 10:33 AM

I bet the Mazdaspeed RX-8 wing would look sweet on a 3!

dentinger May-15th-2007 10:47 AM

yeah... they're kinda expensive tho.. $700 for a unpainted (primed) rx8 wing....

jzoomer May-15th-2007 08:07 PM

that is high for a wing im probably going to go with the stock wing for first maybe upgrade later if i decide to

cyberscorpi0 May-16th-2007 09:21 AM

Are those Rims 17's? They look good BTW.

dentinger May-16th-2007 10:23 AM

yupp. 17's.

and about the wing, im sure i can get it cheaper, i just did a quick search on google, and thats what i found....

oh, and eggy, the only think i found that may be hitting is where the sway bar bushing ataches to the lower control arm.

but it's weird, the noise only happens every once in a while now.. so im happy.
i guess the problem figured itself out....
