5 skyline GT-R spotted in manassas
 

a bright and sunny day today and at the shoney's in Manassas, VA i spotted 6 nissan skyline and it was quite a treat. guess they had a meet up at the shoneys and parked their cars in the back of the restaurant. too bad i only had my camera phone or else i woulda rocked some DSLR action! :crying:

3 R34 (2 of which were v-spec II nur)

1 R32 (my fav)

all beautiful with some of the lowest profile tires ive ever seen, i tell ya i would never drive on manassas streets if i had those low pro tires.

The blue & black R34's are absolutely sick!! Those are definitely my 2 favs right there. That's unreal tho .. I couldn't even dream of seeing a Skyline ANYWHERE in Iowa. I'm lucky to see a nice Supra or RX-7 even!

Good eye tho! I bet you didn't even believe it when you first saw it did ya? You probably had to go back and make sure your eyes weren't fuckin with ya.

indeed...i was going to chipotle and one of the routes to avoid a traffic light was to go behind the shoney's. sure enough i caught the tail lights and did a double take. and then did another double take as i saw 5 skylines (6th one was arriving and parked a few minutes later). i had seen a few R32s over in Vancouver, Canada, but that was a couple years ago, i figured most skyline owners would be on the west coast and a handful in miami. so needless to say i was shocked and awed.

ive only ever seen a 4 door skyline a few months ago and a 2 door skyline recently...
both were the early 90's models... but they dont look ANYTHING like those tho.....

and my friend's friend just imported a '92 RX7. right hand drive, AND twin turbo...

and the blue ones are my fav's.... then again, i'd take just about any skyline, anytime...
IMO, skylines are the gods of the tuner scene.... followed by supra's, RX7's, evos, sti's, etc etc

and what size do you think those rims are on the black skyline??

im just wondering how the hell they managed to import the '99 or whatever skyline GTR's....(the blue and black one)... or the 95ish gtr... cuz we cant import cars until they are 15 years old... unless someone is cheating...

and about those rims.... those tires have to be what?? 30 series?? if not less?? lol. wow

i think you can still import them but its gotta do w/ something about taxes and paperwork. in canada is 10 years (not sure) so you'll see more of the R32s driving around.

i wish i had read the tire info on the sidewall, i was too busy drooling over the huge wheels, and huge brake kits

i know you can inport brand new skylines and Silvia's and whatnot, but they have to be kept on the track i.e., not street legal...

but god damn i want a skyline!!

and i definetely think somebody is cheating with importing those skylines....
and even IF a cop notices them, there is no way in hell he'd be able to catch 'em

That's friggin' awesome! I am yet to have ever seen a Skyline in person. I'm jealous!

ok, i work at canadian tire, and there was a '92 RX7, imported straight from japan, RHD and everything, dual turbocharged.... and it was getting an emission test... so im like, k, wtf??
i thought since it was a 92, it didnt need an emission test....
so i asked the guy, and he said it was 20 yrs old, and the car has to be 1988 or older...
oh, and btw, the rx7 failed the e-test, terribly....
