or you could do it to your 323/protege for only 3,000 throught http://members.rogers.com/a_spec/services.html but the choice is yours... personally i would want to save my self 4,000... but hey its your choice

High Body July-18th-2003 03:08 PM

just saw that it was a ford probe gt (mx-3 engine that only has 164 horse) the site i posted above is a kl-ze swap (japanese Mx-6 engine with 200 hp/ 200 torque) why pay more for less. pay less for more... 3000 full swap and out the door running price... come on... the choice is easy in my eyes... youll still have alot of money left over too

I personnaly saw is protege and the car is really clean in fact it's one of the cleanest first generation we have here in Quebec. It's not the v6 from the mx-3 either, the v6 of the mx-3 was a little 1.8l that had 132hp but it can be replace with the 2.5l kl serie which is a direct swap has there only the displacement that's different. The car is now at 6500$ and has PseudoRealityX mentionned it's canadian dollars so way less on your side of the border

Did he put Si rims on his car?

atila July-19th-2003 06:42 PM

I think they are si-r if i remember correctly. How do you find your Haltech stand-alone, i'm currently looking for a stand-alone and it's either the haltech or the sds, not shure yet which it's going to be cause i really like the sds but i've heard so much about the haltech

I got my Haltech through Braden (turboge). I'm pretty sure they have a website, not sure what it is though... and order it there. It's the E6K.

Sorry, didn't express myself correctly, how do you like it? WAs it hard to install?

It's cool because I mean it's stand-alone and you control like... everything. I don't think it's as user-friendly as the AEM for the Honda's and stuff, but it's not too bad. I'm going to get it dynoed and tuned by somebody that acutally knows what hes doing with it.. as I really don't know what I'm doing. The install was almost impossible for me and my dad before we got the guide from Braden. After that things went smoothly.
