how much you looking for pairs brand new?

Silvermp5 June-4th-2003 09:22 AM

Brand new from the dealer are really expensive. If you have a set, how much do you want for them?

Bijou-MP5 June-4th-2003 09:28 AM

I was going to offer you aftermarket fog lights
It's PiAA40
and it costs about $150 shipped to canada.
I have them, and I can show you where to get them.
I already sold my old foglights.
and I got Piaa40 and they are really bright :)

Do they fit into the P5?
How much modification is required?
I would be interested in seeing first, do you have any pics?

Yes please tell me where to get them from.

go to http://www.adventon.com/acb/showdetl...12690&CATID=22 and look for piaa40 driving fog lights.
I think shipping charges are $15~$30 depends on location
and I don't have pictures but it works fine
You will need a 2 1/2" to 3" bolt of any diameter (just as long as it will fit into the bracket assemblies) to make the arm. You will also need nuts that will be able to screw onto that bolt, along with various washers, or larger nuts to help form the "arm" extension. By shortening the bolt, the driving light will be closer to the bumper and not stick out as much and looks more like OEM.
so spend extra $5~10.
good luck my friend

One more quick question, how did you do the wirring for it?

Did you wire them into the factory harness?

Bijou-MP5 June-4th-2003 12:36 PM

just wire them from factory one, this piaa have their own setting wires but too much hassle. :)
