Howdy,

Have you tried the scrap yards. Not sure if there are any out your way, but up here in Edmonton. Alberta, Canada we have auto scrap yards where you can pull your own parts from vehicles. I have been getting many replacement parts for my 1988 323 DX there. Stuff like trim, side mirrors etc. From the scrap yard the mirror is $7.95 CDN where as at the dealer it's about $130 if available. Just a thought.

i've called several places so far and none of them sell the headrests alone (just the entire seats). $7.95 for a sideview mirror?! that's a damn good price because i also need one of those, and every place i've called so far wants at least $40.

Okay, I am sure I can buy individual pieces from the vehicles. I just have to find the right colour and condition. Any way you can send me pics? Maybe the next time I am in the scrap yard I can check for you. As for that mirror, I go two for my DX, the otorized kind and I am thinking or swapping them out. I have to figure out the wiring though. Also, what is your name?

hey chris,

i'll try and send you pics when i find them. :bigthumb: when do you think you'll be going to the scrap yard again?

Hee, heee sometime before winter :D. I need some more parts for my Dx such as new pads for the pedals as well as some interior trim. Also, did you consider shipping from up north. Not wanting to scare you or anything, but depening on the size it can be expensive. Well sort of as if it does not cost you an arm and a leg it should be okay :).

yeah i ordered my front and rear strut bars from canada. S&H was about $20 (if my memory serves me right). the headrests (or mirrors) aren't that big, so it shouldn't be too expensive.

hey chris,

what's your email address? i tried to send you the pics, but i'm not sure how to attach them through the site. :dunno:
